Artist's Description

This is a modern treatment of a 16th century design of Ayat ul-Kursi, the Throne Verse, of the Quran. This verse is revered for its blessed and protective text. The Bismillah is on the bottom line. The verse text starts above that on the right and is written in a spiral way to end at the center of the work.
